"I have Italian food in my veins, or maybe sauce! I was born into it. My father and grandfather owned Canino's pizzeria in Denver, where I learned how to make the finest pizza and the freshest bread. At thirteen, I knew what worked and what didn't ... what ingredients to add and what to take out.
I brought that knowledge to Fort Collins over 40 years ago, opening my own restaurant in the 1905 historic landmark home Canino's Italian Restaurant has been in since day one. Like your home it has its charm - the creaky stairs and mouthwatering smells wafting from the kitchen - its mysteries - the door to nowhere and why - and the feel of family- food is love and love is food and shouting happens occasionally.
Years may mean change, but not to the basics. Give people what they want and they will come back again and again. And you must eat!" - Clyde
